Better or worse looking car is a matter of taste...ruining a car by giving it such a dreadful black striping must be forbidden be it on a Golf or a Scirocco.
On a Golf he must be shot and on a Scirocco a night in jail should be sufficient.
Let us be honest the "inventor" of such must be protected against himself.....

 

Now how about I spray my Red GTi's roof glassy black?
Could look really good?

Saw the front botty of the abomination this morning.
Even worse than its arse.

The one the first post isnt an R, just a normal one.

As I said before it's VW dealer Alan day's car in the city. I know it's not an R but it is up at £28,995!

They also have a Blue Roc R and that look the dogs danglies.

Okay in laymen terms:

A painted black roof on a red GTI will look good....shure yes and pigs will fly...

Ofcourse painting your roof black can be an act of imitating a sunroof....then nothing is said since I respect that you run out of money...

Money is not the problem. Of this I am pretty sure!
What I am very, very sure of is that I was being very, very stingy when I ordered my car.
I now realise that I am penny wise and pound foolish!
The only way I can make up for my stupidity is to 'paint it (glass) black' for it to look very individual. Of course, it is going to cost me more than a sunroof! :embarassed:

Oh dear - the stripes look shocking... I have to say I love the alloys on the scirocco though (I wouldn't mind a set of those on mine for winter....I think they really suit the golf).

I tend to agree with you about the 'rocco wheels especially on a Candy White and a Silver Golf.
Yes, they would look quite fabulous.
