insurance group???

dose any 1 know what the insurance group is for a mk2 golf g60 not the rallye.

i am 19 comeing up 2 years ncb and i have a mk2 golf gti 8v and i want to put a g60 engine into the car.

you wont get insured on a g60 engine mate. almost fact?

are u sure i was insure on a mk4 1.8 t when i turned 18 with 1 years ncb

Doubt you would mate its supercharged for a start and to make it work its not in the original car. if your putting it into another car then its a mod and tbh a pretty damn big mod.

its a str8 swap and a some changes to breaks ex if i was to by a mk2 golf g60 i can get insured on it i have allready checked.

but ty for all the help im gona ring the insurance comps 2moro to find out if they will do it gona try hic.
if not i will sell my mk2 1.8 8v gti and get a g60 golf not 4x4.
