Question on VW and Skoda Part Numbers

Hi all.
My 55 plate air con fan has failed (the main fan is running all the time and at full speed, the air con fan doesn't move) and having contacted the stealer, they want £150 for a replacement. I've searched eBay and found what looks like a good fit for £50. It's advertised as being from a 56 plate 1.4 ibiza with the part number is '6qo 959 455 AE' the VW part is need is 'iko 959 455et' anyone know if this would be the same fan with just a different numbering scheme at the front does the 6qo mean the car model? Just trying to work if it's worth buying.

Can't help you with the part numbers, but even my limited knowledge of the VAG group tells me that the Ibiza is a Seat, not a Skoda

One thing to bare in mind

Golf > Leon

Polo > Ibiza

Wheater or not they use same A/C parts I dont know Im afraid, cant see why not as an A/C system is an A/C system at the end of the day.
