Recommendations - Car Shampoo (post snow foam)
« on: 14 April 2010, 08:53 »
As per title - my CG Maxi Suds II is coming to an end and I fancy trying something different (prior to this I used Megs NXT from Halfrauds) so any recommendations/good experiences.

Car is steel grey and "time permitting" it gets snow foamed with Valet Pro before a mitt wash, then dried and speed detailed.

Currently also has CG Wet Mirror Finish sealant topped with CG Pete's 53 Wax (although needs re-doing at some point  :undecided:) - if this is of any interest

Cheers

Yea my friend uses that, I was also going to buy it but decided on getting the gold megs and a expensive dodo wax instead. Both are really good tho. I think when it comes to shampoo most are about the same.

britemax cleanmax shampoo, very economical and cleans very well, smells nice too  can be purchased at www.i4detailing.co.uk for around a tenner for a 32floz bottle that has a measuring chamber built into the bottle which is quite handy.

I had tried AG, Simonz, Turtlewax, Zymol and Meguair. I am currently using Raceglaze after snowfoaming my car!
So far I find the Zymol clean+smell better and didn't strip my Swissvax Best of Show!
I might try Durogloss 901 next as it got very good review on DW!
