We cant deny the 20vt is easier to tune and lets not forget the VR lump is like having a fat bird sat right on the leading edge of the bonnet = NOT good :grin: :laugh:

Yeah but the VR noise and potential. :drool:

You get two distinct noises...one of the fine sounding engine, the other of the tyres being tortured as it understeers round every corner.

Reducing my Golf count by the week....
..but gaining motorcycles.

Schrick inlet manifold

...gives you little or no extra power, over a 2.9 upper.
The Schrick is all about torque low down...it'll give 40-50 lb-ft low down, but maybe a handful (<5 BHP) more power at peak, even on a fully ported VSR.

Reducing my Golf count by the week....

I hear that by running a set of 22's with painted on tyres you reduce friction to give you at least 7bhp. I am definately doing this mod

if you want over 200 bhp ur gunna need the red strips i have on mine, add 30bhp alone !!!
