Seems pricey, considering you can get alot of 60k GTI's  for £4,000 or slightly less with the cambelt just changed.

You'd be lucky to get 4k for one WITH the cambelt changed mate these days.

i would never pay that much for a mk4 .. rather invest in a cat d audi diesel s line or s3  :smiley:

I would say that prity good to be fear for a Anny. If it was just boddy and not chassis damage i would say go for it. I think i would if i had seent that a few months ago.
Love the anny. Thay have so many bits that just make it that bit more of a speshal Golf :D

Cheap anni though isnt it. If your happy paying that id go have a look at it, make sure repairs have been done properly and try get it for 4.5k area.

Thats all any other potential buyer will do, if all is repaired properly then why not.

I've also been looking at an S3, 02 plate, 100k miles for £5000. Insurance is cheaper on the s3 than the anni for some reason

was looking at 1 myself,same age and colour with repaired panel damage,wouldnt take a penny less than £5500 for it though.i would go for it.

Just found another, in black with£71k full vw service history for £5k
I'm looking at a 2001 s3 on Wednesday with 104,000 miles in Nogaro blue that's up fir £5500

id go 4 it! paid £8000 for my anni nearly 2 years ago, 45000 miles full vw service history. panel damage is nothing
