what would you suggest, my paint is in a realy sorry state, as i've been parking under a tree for a while now

its really swirly and not very good, loads of tar and tree sap :embarassed: oh and some spaz decided to wipe his boot down the front of my bumper
i'm a poor whore, and have sponges, siminoz car wash/wax, autoglym bodywork conditioner, some pov spec polish in a pink bottle, tcut, some turtlewax wax. so basicly i've got crap gear and not much idea. got some nice polishing cloths, crap chamois, and no hose.
and i'm far too poor to be buying anything at the mo, but the plan was to wash/wax it to clean the worst off, then bodywork conditioner, then tar remover, t-cut. with this i'm a bit unsure. should i do the whole car as its covered in swirls or am i gonna screw the paint up if i do? or should i just try and use this and scratch remover to get the worst of the scratches out and deal with the swirls? after that a polish, then wax.
Am i miles off the mark?
oh and dunno what you use on your windows but windowlene is the foshizzle and pretty cheap
