Hi,
I have a Mk4 GTI 1.8 20v and recently the abs light has come on, i've had it up to the local mechanic who ran some diagnostic which said it was the abs pump. he tested the pump and it seemed to be working, cleaned down all the contacts and reset it. I had no lights on for 2 days but now its back on. any suggestions on how to sort this out, i can't really afford a new pump at over £1000 and its MOT is due in 2 mths.
