I looked into getting my windg mirrors, front lip and rear diffuser all sprayed gloss black, think it would look great. However the boyshop i got a quote from wanted £800, could not beeive it. Would have a go myself, but think it may turn into a nightmare im not proffessional sprayer.

wow. I think this is the first time ever I can say it's cheaper here in Norway. I can get mine resprayed for about 550 GBP. Maybe you should get a quote somewhere else?

I was considering the Golf R / Bluemotion side skirts but after checking the price I don't think I'll buy them at 484 each! They might as well come to my home and steal my stuff.

I might respray the current GTI side skirts instead together with the rear diffusor, front lip and mirror covers. I was thinking gloss black. In my imagination I think that would look cool contrasting my reflex silver GTI. Anyone seen this done or with another color? Opinions and suggestions are very welcome.

How about getting the front lip, GTI sideskirts, wing mirror housings and the rear diffuser carbon wrapped.....?
Should look good getting them all done together.
 

I thought about wrapping but I'd prefer it to be real carbon or just gloss black. I'm sure wrapped carbon would look awesome as well though.

I've seen the carbon diffusor and front lip here on the forum but I don't know if I can get carbon side skirts as well. I'd prefer all three to match.

You surely must have heard of Rip-off Britain. An overpriced and underperforming country with an unmatched superiority complex.
Eyeball should go to Norway, have a holiday in the clean air and get his re-spray done. He'll get a better finish probably and a holiday to boot. But, on the other hand, a holiday in Norway will bankrupt him!

How about a group buy for the ones I can get hold of. There are pics in my carbon thread but I'm using my phone and can't do whizzy links to them at the mo.

Hopefully Exonian ( Andy) will see this and post about the look and quality of the products on offer. The Rear Diffuser is gorgeous and very well made. Fitment looks good also.

I met up with Matt last weekend and had a play with a rear diffuser of his. Lovely bit of kit, very very light, very smooth and glossy. 

A set of lower trims (front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser) in genuine CF would look amazing, much more class than the cheap plastic factory trims. The front lips can come in a few different styles too.

Thanks for the tip Paul. After looking for this kit I found a carbon kit for the GTI that included exactly what I was after. It consists of carbon diffusor, front lip and side skirts. Damn ebay made it so simple to check out...haha. I've ordered it and the whole package costs 745 euros. At least it was cheaper then ordering the parts separately and best of all it is a lot cheaper then the stupid VW R skirts alone that costs me 1119 euros to get here. In addition it would have cost extra to spray it to my car color.

Can't wait to get them. I think the carbon will contrast the reflex silver quite nicely. I've also booked the car to get the front trim sprayed reflex silver as well. Pics will follow when I get everything in place.

Now...that carbon mirror looks good as well but I'll put that on hold. Can it be too much carbon? 

Schwing! Very cool but I think I'd prefer a color coded hood.

Will be good to see all the parts fitted, i am thinking of doing the same less the bonnet. I have a white mk6 GTI, should contrast really well. Think the carbon wing mirrors would look good to.
