Anybody ever come across this before?
When i change gear on my mk3 16v gti, the revs seem to stay up in the air for a few seconds...maybe 2-3secs then, they come down but slowly??
Any ideas?

sticking throttle cable
stretched throttle cable
gummed up throttle body
try lubing the throttle cable up and cleaning the throttle body with carb cleaner, good cheap place to start
