induction turbo hose
« on: 08 April 2010, 08:14 »
may sound really stupid, but i need help with a part name.
basically last night the big hose which connects into the front (inlet) side of the turbo, keeps popping off (puffing out smoke, loud engine noise, misfiring and no power)
the clips in the hose have broken, so i  cable tied it on for a quick fix to get me home.

i need to get a new one, but dont know the name of the part.

can anyone help? its a 2002 pd130 if it helps

just looking around further, when i say inlet side, i mean when you look at the engine, the hose on the left of the turbo

Dealer only or Trade Parts Specialists

Think that little pipe is about £40 or thereabouts  :undecided:

just ordered the part, £39 from VW :(
has anyone had this go before, its strange, the hose goes inside the metal inlet egr, and clips in with these small metal clips, which are what has broken off?

Happens all the time

Just be thankful you didn't have what happened to me - I shattered the EGR housing itself so needed a new EGR at £200
