2 months ago, I put the cab in the garage, removed the battery, left the handbrake off, and covered her in dust sheets.
I woke up this morning to find clear skies and a dry road. So, I thought I would get the cab out for a run up the road, just to keep all things moving as they should, and to check for anything seized.
I went in to the garage, removed the dust sheets, put the battery back in, and fired her up! No problems or hesitiation, just a massive roar from the back of the garage as she jumped back to life!
After carefully driving her back onto the road, I took her up the street for 5 minutes, then straight back for a quick dusting off, before returning her to storage.
It felt good to have the old girl out again, but felt so strange after driving the Corrado for a few months. Despite the cab being sat very low to the floor, I felt that I was sitting a lot higher than when I am in the 'raddo.
So those that I told recently, that I was once again considering selling it, to fund a supercharger on the Corrado, can stop worrying. She'll never be sold, as long as I have a hole in my arse!!
