My New GT TDi! :)
« on: 06 April 2010, 21:43 »
Hi Guys,

I know it's not a true GTi as per forum title but I am really happy with it. {Performance and Economical} :)

I was always a BMW man and had a tuned BMW 328i Sport Coupe and a 530i Sport but for the last 2 years I have had an 08 Golf TDi for a company car and luved it! :) I have driven it very hard everyday for 2 years and done 51000 + miles and it has never skipped a beat so I looked around for quite a while and found this example with Full VW service history, Dual climate, Cruise etc.

I bargained for a good deal with the dealer and when he wouldn't come down anymore on price I got him to body colour the black trim on the lower half of the back bumper as part of the deal as its probably the only thing I dont like about my company car.

The plan's I have got are black surround headlights with gen OEM projector Xenons, Eibach lowering kit, and maybe a re-map but my Mrs will drive it allot and I wouldn't trust her with 200BHP! He He.

Please let me know your thoughts or ideas?

:)

Thanks for your comments lads!

The dealers bodyshop sprayers said they had never thought of it but would probably do it to all of there MK 5's that they have for sale now as it make's such a difference!
