Missing Options On MFD ??

Looking Through The Owners Manual Pages 25/26 Lists the Options available on the MFD. I appear to have a Couple Missing :-

MFD DATA/DIGITAL SPEED  (Missing)

SETTINIGS/SECOND SPEED DISPLAY ON/OFF (Missing)
Although the Second speed is being indicated in Kmph on the Display at all times ??

A Couple Of Others are not there also MFD DATA/Distance & COMPASS I Presume these are not There Because I Do Not Have Sat/Nav only a RCD510

But I'm Sure the Other Options "SHOULD" Be there. Can Anyone Confirm this for sure?? I can then get on to Stealers to restore these Options.

P.S. Got Access To VCDS if it's easy to do with this, info Required Though.

Cmon!!    Somebody with a nice shiny new GTi or GTD must Know the Answer to this one ?? or are you all out enjoying your new Motor on bank Holiday Week End, Stuck in Traffic Maybe.

Need to Know for Sure So I can start Hasseling the Stealers to Fix It

Mine does not have these options on.

Compass i guessed the same reason you did.

MPH display: I guessed as by law the UK has to have kph and mph displayed at the same time, VW did not put an option for mph in the digital display.

There is a thread somewere on here talking about switching the car to USA spec using VCDS so you can have digital display in mph but that brings other complications.

The Owners Manual Pages 25/26 Clearly Lists the Options available on the MFD/MFI whatever you want to call it. Do these options that are missing only Refer to The U.S. market then ?? Seems Strange to Me that a UK dealer would supply a users manual for a UK spec car that refers to US options ?? Maybe it's me being to clinical, least they could do is print in Manual what options are for UK market and What for U.S. market, Cost Cutting i Suppose.

What your asking is why the digital display does not have the option of mph. I said because its against the law.
In europe you can change between kph and mph on there cars for the digital display because there speedos are in kph to start with.

Cost cutting tell me about it, i can see it far too easy on my car , its why im pissed off at the moment.

So Your saying on a UK spec Car there is "NO" Option in Settings to turn this Kmph Display Off, But in a U.S. spec Car you can.

yes, And in the europe spec car you can select it as kph or mph.
