vibrating . . .

oks just a quick one
don’t know if its ment to vibrate but i had the bonnet open with the engine running and nosiest that a part near the cam belt was vibrating a bit and didn’t know if its ment to.

Thats belt tensioner, might be worth checking the pully for free play.

I ve had i feel and it feels pretty solid, but when the engines running it looks lose

When was the belt last changed? I could be justed streched or the tensioner could be worn.

If it is the tensioner they aren't expensive

Had new belts cam and alternator in Jan when i damaged my alternator on at pot hole.

Is the tensioner easy to change? Is there a guide?
