Why would it drive crap :P

Wider rims = more tyre = more grip? Or am i wrong?

We already drive boats, Might aswell go low and wide :D

Well, eventhough the rims are wide, you can't put some massive tyres on a Golf.

Even, when you put 215 wide tyres on 9" wide rim, there's a slight stretch, I believe...
My Golf mk3 1.8 SE is FOR SALE - Jetex exhaust + Jamex coilies & More...Only £550! More info here > http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=161711.0

more than a slight stretch!
I have a set of 8J D90's and they are in the region of 235 wide! so 215 would stretch on those let alone 9J!

But i saw a Mk2 G60 the other day with 9J Borbet A's and it looked the NUTS!!
But very impractical for a daily hack :D

I will rely on the official website, and buy the 64mm ones.

Actually I managed to find them on eBay, and have ordered today. So will get them around next week and will fit the Borbet's on the weekend probably or during the week, if I have time...

Yessssssssssss

Anyone, who wants my Lenso's, let me know :)
