oh and how many cd connections are in the back of the head unit(gamma i think?)

It's just one connection at the back isn't it? Hence why you can only access the first 5 playlists as it uses where you would normaly plug the in-dash multi disc player?

I maybe wrong though  :undecided:

hmmm yeah maybe, not sure i want to lose the cd player as the wife is ipod illiterate  :undecided:
or i might just say fook it and tell her to just use the radio  :laugh:

I might have it wrong mate. There might be a connection on the back of the single disc cd player for the cd changer. I will check tomorrow for you as My original units are in storage.

MP3 Headunit with bluetooth streaming FTW!

yeah mate if you could check that would be a huge help.

yeah saving up for a new head unit but got sooooooo much other stuff to do first, service next week, new tyres for TT comp alloys that i need to also get refurbed and painted, ARB's, better coilovers etc.............  when will i ever have the spare cash  :cry:

Have A look for a system called x-link, it will allow you to keep cd changer and connect iPod/iPhone to head unit, best of both worlds   :grin:

There is a connection on the back of the single CD, the select button on the front of the player toggles between the two  :wink:

If you are running a single disc player and a multichanger, then to use this cable you lose the mutlichanger and keep the single CD.
The single cd plugs to the Headunit and there is an output on the back of the single disc for the changer.

Was going to do this myself but i dont have a single disc player.
