yea going get a 90 degree elbow today and get rid of it as well!
reading through 'pats' how to on ukmkivs i don't think it has any sort of detriment to the system once removed anyway
mine seems alot better now i'm running the catch tank
just haven't had a look yet to see if i ought to drain it
