HELP!!! Chattering from exhaust system at certain revs

No shouldn't affect 35....

I had this on mine and it was a simple fix by the dealers...... The biggest problem was convincing them that it wasn't normal in the first place....

Seriously? What a bunch of tossers.

It's a clip. It clips on. Nice easy fix.

They have spoken with VW Uk and confirmed its a non recoverable cost for their dealership so can't make a warranty claim for me.

It's a small local dealership I use and to date they have been great, but following on from this all follow up servicing will now find a new home.

Going to bite the bullet and just buy the clip and fit myself and be done with it.

It's easy to do and I would rather DIY it than risk a dealer screwup anyway for the cost of it.
The time wasted in dealer trips is not worth it.

Agreed, it was the principle of it tbh but I give in and cba with the hassle anymore.

There is a number that means something, not sure what! But when I gave it to the dealer they knew exactly what they needed to do and they ordered the part and fitted it within a week.
