Saw a MK5 GTi today

Was driving to me mums before, and i got over took on a dual carriageway by a nice new GTi.

Saw one as well on the weekend and I thought it looked quite nice. Its nicer than the standard mk5 which has that black part on the bottom of the rear bumper which Audi used to do which I think looks awful...so much better when its all colour coded IMO

The rear bumpers arent colourcoded according to the vw website. The rear bumper, front splitter and sideskirts are all black/grey in every pic ive seen. Yet to see one on the road yet though.. the one's youve seen must be demo models.

ive seen a few with gti stickers on them but there the fsi 2.0 :S been seeing them since the summer

is the GTI based on the 180bhp 1.8T tech?

demo models are being delivered to dealerships between now and christmas... late january is the earliest delivery date as far as i know

Must be lots of press cars about too, judging by the amount of magazines the new GTI is in lately.

thats feb toph most have ordered theres for feb to get new reg on it.
