Gonna get as much done on Saturday as I can and try my best to blag the mother in laws garage oh and I may have those doors for u aswell what ones. Do u need ?

 Much like the start of my VR build, i've given it one more wash



Noticed that the birth mark on my FL wheel is getting bigger/darker. Will have to have that wheel refurbed when ever it comes back on the road. Got to love lacquer peel.



The engine bay certainly took a battering over christmas. Its a state with salt EVERYWHERE! Luckily this is why its all coming off the road any way.




Tucked up under its cover


A friend of mine has just got a half finished mk2 vr project so I am going to be busy doing that with him also. This is going to be a long process getting the bay how I want it. Ideally, what i can see before it comes back on the road is a full resprey. But i doubt il have the funds for anything like that...

the paint is pretty shocking unfortunately mate. Doesn't look it in the photo's, but there are swirls, scratches, on the roof i have paint cracking. Its a right old state (in my head it is any way). I keep wanting GUY to come and do work on it and see what he can do, but there was a communication break down when I wanted it done last summer and it never happened in the end.

Maybe il get him to come over and see if he can restore any of it later on...

The car cover is just a halfords one. Again due to how the paint is I dont need anything special. Like a twit I left the ariel on the roof and it went straight through. Nice 10 inch rip and it hadn't even been on the car for more than 20 seconds! Seems ok though. Got a nice zip on the drivers door so you can still gain access too.

Took the engine out tonight. Started at 8, finished at half 11.
