I just called R-tech they said #95 to get your turbo cleaned that's with them providing the kit and the labour to do it, does that sound right or a tad dear?
How long does it take to clean i.e how much labour time would it be?

Before you spend your money on this, you should try Millers Eco Max, (or whatever it is called these days)

It really does work. It has cured several cars that I know of that have been suffering from going into limp mode due to overboost caused by sticky vanes. Give it double dose to a tank of diesel, and give it some good runs with lots of on and off boost. Then add a dose every time you fill up and you'll shouldn't have the problem again.

It costs around £1 per tank of fuel, but you'll save more than that in increased fuel economy.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

It comes with a bottle of injector cleaner too which you stick direct into the fuel filter

Tried that Millers stuff no real difference for me but I suppose it must be doing something good somewhere and can't be doing any bad.
Nothing wrong with a good old clean.

Well judging by what you've said Rhyso I think i'll shop around and see if any other garage can do it for me, only problem is that there aren;t any gargaes round my way that would probably even know what this stuff is and what to do with it.

You won't find it cheaper than R-Tech mate.  Some garages who sell it want twice what R-Tech charge for the cleaning kit

Oh I must've misread what you were saying then, when you said "try finding someone who will do it cheaper I thought you was saying that was a dear price.

Cool then R-tech it is then, still not heard a word bad about them which is brilliant and very comforting to use them for any work. I'll probably use them for servicing aswell.
