And the other side of the story I was driving home in my brand new candy white mk6 gti (just picked it up today- well chuffed)Went to overtake someone who I think was in a mk5 gti , didn’t really pay him much attention as I was trying to turn my wipers off, but might have accidentally pulled the wrong stalk and flashed full beam.As I pulled along side him I thought I recognised the driver so put my foot down to take a closer look, he appeared to floor his car , so I though we would have some fun , unfortunately I couldn’t rev my car beyond 5k as it is brand new and not fully run in, but it still just about managed to stick with him. When we got to the next roundabout he slowed down (I thought to have a mutual chat about GTI ownership) as it happened he just wanted to show me his middle finger for some reason ??LOL.... and where did this take place then mate
