tim id recomend not using the crappy induction hose they give with that kit mate.. i had one on my mk4 and the side airbox bracket put a slit in the cheapy pipe and resulted in new MAF  :cry:.. the sound that kit gives tho is :evil:


That's because you put the hose on like a gimp! :rolleyes:  :grin:

If you angle the bracket(s) right, you get no chafing of anything.  Check my thread out on it! :P

na mate was becuase there screw on side panel.. and when i had car accident it pushed the pipe straight on it and like a idiot i left it few days leter a big slit on it  :sad: but yh i see you mean if no1 descides to smack into you then yh your ok  :grin:

I haven't got the strap on the filter housing, it just hangs on the end of the MAF lol

I have got a bracket supporting the MAF though so it's not all bad
