At present you can't mate up a K04 to the chain drive engine as far as I'm aware.
Awesome GTI have done an APR upgrade (for a forum member who doesn't seem to want to come on here anymore and post his thoughts!) which was featured in VW Driver mag a month or two back. I did link to the mag at the time.
His was running well over 300bhp, maybe 330 or something.
There was a mention of a Greek GTI owner on mk5golfgti.co.uk who'd done a big turbo on his and also had well over 330bhp.
Only a matter of time. You could volunteer your car to a few tuners for a development mule if you've got a few grand burning a hole in your wallet.............
