Soon enough GTI's with the factory fitted rear lights are going to be a rarity going by the number of you retro-fitting led ones.
I have the redder version of the Led Tail Light on carbon steel grey and I get a lot of cool remarks...it really makes the car a lot more interesting....especially if you have your leaving home/follow me home function on.....

That said, I still think the LED blocks are more in keeping with the sharp, modern styling of the Mk6.

Snoopy: yes, I meant the original small rear lights (before 1979, I believe).BTW, nice comparison of the dark v pink LEDs. Dark win hands down, IMHO.
