Light front end at 70+ on a 92 K plate mk2

Can anyone help??
When on country roads at 70+ the front end on my 92 k reg mk2 goes really light and feels a little scary :shocked:! it's on 15"bbs
Any ideas??

Poor tracking, too much negative camber, dodgy pressure relief valve on PAS rack or over inflated tyres.

Take your pick ;)

Tyre pressures are spot on,and drives in a nice straight line,But the pas is kinda heavy so maybe take a look at that then.

knackered rear axle bushes can cause it to wander at speed, i know!


I don't think a semi will give the same results

This only happened on a few select models as they approached 88mph  :wink:

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.
