Another brake disc and pad question

Basically looking for some discs and pads for the fronts. I really don't want to spend more than £150 max, after some braking gains for track days and heavy driving style, but I do want them to last as long as possible at the same time, this is for a 195BHP AGU. I don't want to touch EBC pads as they are terrible from one experience, never understood the hype about these, unless you guys can sway me otherwise. Don't really want grooved discs as I can't see the benifits, however I do think drilled look  even if again there is no real gain. I have seen a few brakes out there, just wanted to know what you guys can advise and recommend.

Some I have seen are:

• VW Discs and Pads
• Mintex
• Brembo 288mm
• OMP
• Black Diamond
• EBC

What can you guys recommend and comment about etc...

OEM discs and some decent pads like ferodo DS2500 IMO

i put on a full set of o.e.m front/rear discs and pads last week was £160 from tps std sizes as i'm not that fussed with 312's they are a definate improvement over what came off  and are bedded in nicely now and have a nice bite to them even for a std set up
