« on: 19 March 2010, 23:20 »

basicaly the dam thing keeps poping off when on boost. its done it 4 times in 2 days an its starting to really pee me off. iv checked an changed clips for stronger ones but it still does it.

a normal jubilee clip is enough to keep it on.. unless for some reason your throttle is closing when still on boost?

what engine is it and what mods have been done engine-wise? Have you messed with the DV at all?

its the aum engine code an its was mapped before i got it 196bhp at the wheels.

Possibly.. does it pop off when you're pulling through the revs or is it when you change gear?

I've read back through some of your posts and it sounds like noone is absolutely sure what your car has or what it is set up for. It may even be something plumbed in wrong if whoever fitted the turbo made a booboo. Also the duty cycle for N75 in the remap for the k03s is going to be COMPLETELY wrong for the k04-001 if that's what it has - it will overboost like crazy if the duty cycle isn't pulled way back in low range.

I'd say so.. something definitely isn't right, and probably something dead simple that someone who knows what they're looking at will spot right away!
