So..  Reading around and after confirmation from Topher it seems all we can do is MTE.  To be fair, that's the only mod he really wants at the end of the day.

Can anyone with these clocks confirm if I'm doing something wrong or if there is in fact a quicker way to do this mod?

Also regarding the 3 position trip computer switch - is there something wrong if he's toggling but nothing is changing on the screen?

Has he got a manual as it is all explained in there

No mate, no manual unfortunately - and the dufus has just realised that the 3 position switch is to adjust the wiper speed settings
