gear stick spring

ever since i have had my golf the gearstick has been funny, when i take it out of gear the stick does not spring back to the centre. you have to manually push it. it is almost as if something needs lubricating??? any ideas.??

The shifter on top of the gearbox use some white spray grease  :wink:

yeah done that. maybe give it another blast though.

How about lubricating the plastic part under the gear gator  :undecided:
