Engine temp and thermostat

I hate to say........'I told you so!'.....

yeah i know................. but at least i know stat is ok now

forgot to mention....what a pain to get at !!

replaced stat and refilled coolant.

engine up to temp and .................

it's the fooking fan switch.

Ive just changed my radiator the old one has still got a working 2 pin fan switch on it,its yours if u want it.

where you at? I really need car mobile - it's getting machine polished friday

fixed the cooling prob................. but the system coolant level / pressure/ over temp light kept flashing
when fan licks in and goes off when temp is settled back to centre and fan is off.

I had noticed the coolant level did change .......this should not happen.

while pondering in garage with bonnet up i could hear a hissing coming from expansion bottle.
I noticed tghe seal on bottle had gone.

What would that do?? I've replaced it but not been out in car to try it out.
