Depends on the specs of your car and the ED30, and the ED30's history.

my car 27000mls one owner mint cond. £12000 ed30 33000mls one owner. both silver. mines a 56, ed30 08 £15995 havnt asked for change over figure yet.

Drive it normally.  You might not like the higher revs needed to fire up the turbocharger.
Remember a remapped GTI is faster than an ED30.

Mapped ed30 against a mapped gti = ed30 fastest by far!!

I think what he was trying to say is that if you want a bit more power then just get it remapped rather than going through the hassle of swapping cars? ?

Yes your right he didint , just a bit quick there to defend the Ed30, he says its a chav car! Never seen a chav driving an ed30 in my life and I have seen a lot of them TBH around london!!
