Right may have been covered before

Does anyone know the part number for the cable to connect an ipod to standard radio?

Also does it plug in via the back of the headunit?

You need to have the cd player fitted i believe. A cable can then be fitted into the multi-disc connection.

What about if you got the standard tape head-unit with 6-disc changer? would this work?

it uses the connection for the CD changer

only way to have both would be have have the single slot CD changer

I had a single slot cd player with a Phatnoise system

dealers or Ebay

Personally for the money it costs you'd be better off getting a headunit which gives you full iPod control as the VW system is rubbish
