Ordered some GTI mats today from dealers cost me £70,while i was there someone was picking up a silver Golf R and to be honest it looked very plain.
£70!!!???!!!
I feel the mats that came with my GTi are more than fine. I'll get new ones if or when these wear out. No point spending £70 on/for dirty feet. It was bad enough I spent £41 on a luggage net which, believe it or not, is very, very useful.
PS: Any chance of spicing things up. You are quite adept at this from what I recall!
Ones I got with mine are almost done  Totally crappy quality, flat as a pancake now in places and were about as thick as a piece of cardboard.

But you have 3 legs, lucky man!

GTI mk6, 3dr Manual (Yes Manual! If I wanted a Taxi I'd hail one, not spend £1500 on one), Candy White, Full Leather, Xenons, ACC, 18", RCD510 + Dynaudio, DAB Radio, Winter Pack, Luxury Pack, Fiscon Bluetooth Plus, Golf R LED's.

Had my GTI 8 months now and done 2500 miles in it,the mats that come with the car are a little on the thin side and are abit worn where your heel rests and i felt like wasting some money ,The gti one look better.
Golfgti build quality is average at best.

When you guys order mats, do you order them with the heel protection ? Or just order them without it ?

Caistor:
Just realised that those little teeth look like Golf R exhausts.
The R is 'rat arsed'! (A bit back to front).
