i picked up a non-running, rusty f-reg gti from a barn for £75, then when i realised it couldnt be saved by me i sold it for £150.

He said £500 I said Bo max £130 it's quite rusty and it don't rung it will be the car with no on bbs for £130 hopefully and may convert engine more

I got it for £130 which I think wa fair it's got potentional I think going to get it on the ramp tomorow and have a good look ? Silly question how do I open the petrol cap? I'm new to this scene

hmm no wheels and non-running, surely its therefore scrap value (£80?)

but still, if its an easy fix and the rust isnt too bad then not a bad buy

Well buy the end of the week , I'd like the engine started and see how this rust is and get a list to together lol I'll get a project threat up I'm the 7 th owner I got a folder full of old mots etc and 2 keys too I'm really excited

All the best with your new project. Looks very original and not tampered with. As you got it so cheap I would throw a bit of money on it, get it running and MOT'd then just run it as it is. Patina look!

Yeah u going to try and get it started I'm in no rush lol the gf wants to wack a 1.4 polo engine in to I for insurance lol
