I have had the mk1 since around 1990. Its always been reliable never let me down, Always starts first time, just so good to me i could never part with it.

Only mod so far is i have removed the dealer sticker off the rear window and have changed the tax disc holder to my local dealers one :grin: The numberplates will be changed to my local dealer ones soon too. :laugh:
No free adverts for my supply dealer. I think a private plate is in order at some stage as the letter combo i have is not good,

I agree with you to change it if you don't like it. Mine has a good ring to it! Makes me laugh. There have been lots of rudeness about this from many forum members as you may remember.
In 6 months I will use my private number plate. '10' for 6 months is enough! :smiley:
