mk3 golf diferant specs?

ok my golf is a mk3 1.8 8v gl gti replica.

im looking at buying my first real ither gti or vr6 soon as my old girl is getting abit tired.

can anybody tell me the diferant spec gti,s there are and the most reliable and diferant mpgs they have?
also what is the mpg of the vr6?

would realy most like the vr6 but the mpg may be to high and it may be abit heavy as i do like cornering when coilovers fitted.

Full exhaust system/remapped/Air-Filter...mmm...and thats it for now...  PS- Must change this picture! Its too big and due to a speed bump under my rear right wheel, the front right looks like its in the air  ><

AAhhhh so the 8v is quicker than the 16v from 30 to 50??!! :wink:

ah right so the vr6 aint realy that much more mpg than the gti,s?
