Golf VR6/16v interior question

Hiya,

did the VR6 or the 16v come with a leather steering wheel (airbag wheel) and leather gear knob?  If so, does anyone have the part no's and approximate cost for these please?

The only part of my interior that is leather is the gear stick surround.  The gear knob and steering wheel are plastic.  Can post some pics if needed to show you what i mean?

I think most VR6s came with Leather steering wheels, but all gti's except with leather interior came with standard wheels and gear sticks.?  But i would guess it was all optional so there are all kinds of combinations out there.   Who knows.

Anyway, the part nos for the bits are as follows:

Leather steering wheel (airbag models) exc. airbag? ?1HO 419 091 AQ 01C? ?253.94

Leather gear knob and boot  1HO 711 118 M 1BX  ?104.59

There are a few options for the gear knob but i think this is the standard leather one.  Also the pricing module on my copy of ETKA is out of date, so don't take those prices as being correct.

I have seen quite a few leather steering wheels on ebay recently so keep your eye out there.

Mines the std, almost vulcanised rubber, version.  Unless thats what you're after?

I am after something that will enable me to have a golf ball gear knob, not sure exactly what i will need.
