My golf has been sitting for a couple of months whilst I have been messing around with a couple of other cars. I went to get something out of the boot the other day and when I shut it it wouldn't latch unless it was slamed down with some force! I checked the movement of the lock it's self and this seems to operate fine so I adjusted the post (attached to the rear panel) and this has improved it a bit, but it still needs a good slam to latch. Any ideas?
