Tyre Life ETA ?
« on: 12 March 2010, 16:35 »
How long can you expect the tyres to last on the GTD170 ?

Given that I will definately be abusing them from time to time

thanks

Me thinks they will be Dunlop's , you should get about 8-10 thousand out of them?? But cant be sure really of which tyre its going to be?

From experience of several GTIs.

GTD - not sure, but you're certainly not able to abuse the tyres so - a lot longer than a GTI.

Astra 150 BHP lasted 13000 first set and then about 14000 for the second set, rear were still fine. They were sport contact 2 quiet a soft tyre with superb grip for that car. I'm hoping for the same from these battle axes that are on the GT with a tweak making it 175 BHP ish. That would do me
