Reset Tool

I've seen the reset tool for sale at 'Euro Car Parts' for ?48. Just wanted to know if it would reset the codes 01, 02 and air bag light on a polo 1.4 16v 97 & be able to use on golf 2.0 gti 8v 97. Does it need anymore software or hardware?

try the mk4 forum guys matey, not sure if you can reset it without any tools, as you can do with the mk3

Sorry matey, for some strange reason thought you had a mk4, anyway if you follow this link http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=8052.0 , you will be able to find out how to reset the service lights ie IN01 and IN02 on your golf, may work on the polo, may not be worth a go, as for the air bag light, the light being on means there is a fault, and i would personally try to find out what the problem was!
