LED rear lights fitted FTW!!
« on: 11 March 2010, 17:01 »
Had these lights sitting in the garage for a while and so made an effort to fit them.

They are OEM Valeo lights and were originally destined to be the stock lights for the MKV Golf until the penny pinchers saw them
The indicator lights on the rear have always been a bit of a bugbear with me as they are virtually invisible when braking and indicating approaching a turn, so not goo if pulling into the pitlanes either

Before

During

After

Whaddya think?

Quite like them myself, I think they suit silver and white very well

I agree with the visibility bit, but you've turned your car into a passat :)

I alway get asked if my rear lights are aftermarket, and if they'll fit the 'basic' GTi.

They look very nice, I agree with what you said about the inicator as well.
A shame they don't do them with a slight tint like the original ED30/R32 rear lights.

(You always park too close to the wall!!!!)
