BMW e30 BBS wheel ID please - pics included
« on: 07 March 2010, 22:55 »
Hello my dearies,

I have a friend who is breaking his bmw e30, anyway he has a tasty pair of BBS rims on there which are 15" and look 7j around, diamond cut etc. Pics Below:

Could anyone kindly identify the wheel?
A confirmation on the ET on these would me much appreciated?
Thinking of running these on the mk2 in the summer..
I think e30s are ET24?

Thanks in advance,
G

What exactly are you asking for here?

The wheel clearly has 7jx15" ET24 stamped on it?

I ran these on my Mk2 Golf many moons ago, they looked proper smart, although I painted the centres black cus it was a red car

The style of wheels is BBS RZ, but if you phone BMW up, they have them listed as style 2

As above, 7jx15 and ET 24 is stamped on the wheel. I had a bit of scrubbing issues with a 55 profile tyre, but it is lowered (not sure by how much, but not a lot) but 195/45/15 tyres sorted that out :)

Thanks dudes,

Wanted a confirmation of the wheel and its fitment on the golf.
I have a set of 194/50s rubber, not sure how that will go down so wel see!
twistedblack69 - couldnt see the pic you uploaded?

Anyone have any ideas on the value of a clean set of these?
I have been offered the refurbed set, diamond cut (minus the BBS caps) for approx £300

Thanks!
G

You're not at work ar eyou? Maybe they have a hosting site filter or something. They usually sell for anywhere between £100 without centre caps, to £300 in perfect nick with centre caps. Be aware that new, the centre caps cost £45 a piece!

So he has the caps but he's not selling them? Have they just been refurbed? There was a guy sellin some RAs that had been refurbed and not put on the car after, can't remember how much he got for them in the end but took him a while to sell them. If you search Lepsons (who he got them refurbed by) in the classifieds section, should come up. Base what your willing to pay on that, and if they have any marks on them at all
