right lets not get silly now, a f**kin tractor would get to its destination before a veyron, so lets not start talking pish.
Glad you were not head to head against something like a prius then, they would be faster than you, they would just keep going and fall off the cliffs of dover.
Well said Kev.
Steve should have bought a Prius tractor.
Ooops, he has!
A prius tractor, I'd get a patent on that now
Steve is already on the case.
He even bought one.
The poor deluded man!

am i reading this thread correctly or are there people on here that think a GTD is faster than a GTI?!

and, as stated on many occasions, the DSG is an awesome bit of kit but manual cars are for real drivers and therefore better.  example, was watching the start of quantum of solace the other day and mr bond is thrashing the fook out of his aston - and its manual.  nuff said

Steve:
I am on a war footing as far as you are concerned.
You are so selfish. Typical of a frustrated driver!

is it?  i drove my car (manual) and a courtesy car (dsg) along the same stretch of road last sep.  timed it and i beat the dsg time.  with smooth gear changes and a knowledge of the car that you're driving the dsg is no quicker    and vw's official figures agree with me
