well got her sorted today
lad at work changed the hub and its all ok now

so i am out n about again sensible gonna go to
one of the next meets hopefully

I think dealer stamps can be a bit of a waste of time.... If i was selling my car (which has always gone to a decent specialist) and the buyer was dubious about it having no stamps, i'd tell him the dealers are sh1t and i don't go to them, as i love my car too much etc... If he was into cars he'd undersrans, and thats the sort of person i'd want to sell my car too! Likewise with buying, i'd be more worried about a car that had full VAG history, as i know how much they feck it up (through personal experiece, eg wrong spark plugs ::) )
