weitec ultra gt kit is it any good?

Hi been looking at changing my suspention for a while now and i am looking at the weitec ultra gt kit just wondered if anyone else uses this and what drop kit they went for as i see they do a few different set ups i was looking at 40mm front and back?

they are great , i fitted the front coilovers,  rear type with a C clip on the shocks this is a bit arse really but the quality is awsome and the ride is not so harsh

Ok thanks will have ago at finding it and will have a look? how low have you lowered yours?
I have some coilovers on mine at moment but they are too harsh feel every bump in road cant remember what make they are supersport or something

I got some of these wietec hicon GTNs (front coilovers and adjustable rear shocks as sidecarphil)

the front has since been heightened as the sump (being a vr6 conversion) is very low! it now looks level all around. 

ride quality is good despite the heavy engine up front, plus it gets the power down very well (weight doesnt shift to the rear unlike with the soft rear shocks/springs that were originally fitted). its not harsh, but its firm.

only thing that alarmed me was the lack of coilover spanner and the adjuster ring on the coilover strut is plastic

the rear strut has 5 notches and a big C-clip, the lower spring plate can be secured in 5 positions depending on which notch you insert the C-clip into

I have a set of these as well and have to say they are perfect.

I got them for a really good price but even at the normal price they are totally worth it, really comfortable ride and handling whilst still being adjustable
