Anyone running a bonnet bra?
« on: 05 March 2010, 14:09 »
Is anyone here running a bonnet bra? Where did you get them and how is the quality? Anything to look out for? This weeks big scratch from a stone chip has settled it for me and I want to get a bra to protect the bonnet once it has been fixed up. Thanks guys

Bras are for t*ts. No pun intended

The GTD is like a blow up doll. The GTI is like a proper woman. Sure the doll might last longer, and the woman might have higher running costs, but which would you rather have?

I'm not doing this for looks but to keep the stone chips that are all over the roads at the moment from scratching the bonnet. I do a lot of mileage every week and the roads here are rubbish so I want to do what I can to minimise the damage.

I've just checked mkvgolfgolfgti.co.uk for you. There was one for sale in the classifieds, but it's now sold.

I think it was a group buy sometime ago, but I'm just running out the door & won't be able to check.

I'm not being rude, I personally think it looks poo - each to their own, of course...

I use one but only if i'm on a long run out when I don't want to get any damage to the bonnet,

I don't use it if its raining cos it can do more damage to the bonnet
