Red Enamel Paint from Halfords????????

Hi

Question 4u, I want to paint my calipers red I went to Halford to buy the Caliper paint bu they didn't have any so I bought the red enamel paint instead, will this be ok to use or do I need the caliper paint. Thanks.

ye man thats grand for calipers you can use hammerite aswel! not a bad option as hammerite make some good colours if you wanna get adventurous!! :grin:

I used a normal red primer then normal red paint and finished with a few coats of lacquer to protect the colour and make them shine when washed. Anything works and looks great when done.      Cheers      Deano

tbh hammerite is the best solution.
all you gota do is wire brush them, wash them down then apply, gives a perfectly good shine, i bet you could get away without even wire brushing them. probably one of the most durable paints out there. plus its alot cheaper than the halfords kit.
