Depends which motor is fitted to yours bosch or velo.

Took a look on vagcat there and its saying for my car / year etc is  1J6955711C.  I'll tear off gently remove the trim panel tomorrow arvo and if I spy that number am I good to go with the kit?

Mine does this, it can stay as an added feature for that price :shocked:

Mine has leaked though and ruined my tailgate micro switch and catch so no boot light. Also while im in there i want to replace the boot handle as is has the classic corrosion starting.

Price that lot up   :cry: :cry:

snap! i ve got the Same problem, if i get the lock replaced and a new wiper motor (as its leaking from the motor not the pipe, motors working great just doesn’t squirt just leaks in to the boot  :grin: lol) well the boot light work ?

.... swaying towards slapping a new motor unit on plastic fantastic!  £82 from Euro.

Am I right in thinking new units have an updated pipe that doesn't corrode?

might have to see how much the lone mk4 up the scrappy is then, can't be doing with it leaking everywhere...

I believe so bud may as well get the part from VW for few quid difference  :wink:

Ridg also got a new motor even after buying the repair kit  :smiley:

If its what im thinking then mine does this too, its always done it i thought it was the norm!  :huh:

does the water squirt vertical then go from 12 oclock to 9 oclock and back again ?
